Specializing in Maroger's famed Flemish and Venetian formulas, we use only the highest-quality artist-grade ingredients to produce the very best traditional mediums available . About Michael Siegel
Owner Michael Siegel has been a professional fine artist and instructor for over 20 years. His paintings have won acclaim at international exhibitions, and he has taught fine art at prestigious schools in the USA, France, and Spain. Michael is a family man, living with his wife Kyla and 3 children in San Antonio. Before Classic Mediums, Michael was co-owner of Old Masters Maroger for 18 years, supplying manyu of these same products to the art world.
Artist
Michael is known for his dramatic still-life and portraits in oils, as well as his figure drawings. He has has been represented by galleries from Santa Barabara, to Scottsdale, Manhattan, and Amsterdam. Instructor
Michael has been on the faculty of the Art Students League of NY, The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, New Masters Academy, and many other fine art schools. He has taught workshops coast-to-coast in the USA, as well as Paris and Barcelona. Michael has also taught classes for the animation and design unions in the film industry in Los Angeles.
